Yoga For Masks is a cohort of Kansas City yoga instructors, community leaders, and artists whose mission is to raise money for the production and distribution of cloth masks to people who need them.
We'll be live-streaming yoga classes all month at facebook.com/yogaformasks and asking for your donations. Our fundraising goal is $15,000 during the month of April. Each mask costs $2 to produce so by hitting our goal we'll be sending 7,500 masks into the community.
We invite you to join us from your mat this month, help us meet our goal, and get masks to people who need them.

Get Involved
1) Do yoga
Join us from your mat on the Yoga For Masks Facebook page all month to take live yoga classes from some of Kansas City’s most dedicated instructors, who are all donating their time for this cause.
2) Donate dollars
Donate, donate, donate! We’re collecting donations at our Go Fund Me to help us reach our goal of $15,000 in April. Don’t forget to share!
100% of your donation goes to The Sewing Labs, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit that manages a local team of sewers hard at work making masks. Each mask costs $2 to make, so meeting our $15,000 goal will give The Sewing Labs the materials and labor to make 7,500 masks.
3) Move the needle on Coronavirus
The finished masks will be distributed by our food bank partner Mimi’s Pantry and other food banks and homeless shelters across the metro area. These masks will be available at no cost to families in need.
Together we can move the needle and flatten the curve on Coronavirus!
